EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR 

ACCOUNTING

Ms. Amber has 22 years of early childhood experience that includes teaching and directing a preschool.  Amber earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.  She went on to successfully complete a two-year credentialing program qualifying her for instruction at grade levels PreK-12.  She is also a certified teacher in Illinois. She established Cornerstone in 2006. Amber currently resides in Plainfield with her family.

PART-TIME THREES PRESCHOOL

 Mrs. Jodi has 26 years of early childhood experience that includes teaching and directing a preschool.  Jodi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from North Central College in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education from Benedictine University in Special Education. She established Cornerstone in 2006. Jodi currently resides in Yorkville with her husband and two children.  

 PART-TIME PRE-KINDERGARTEN 

Lindsey has 10 years of early childhood experience including teaching at a local preschool. She attended Illinois State university, where she earned her bachelors degree in Early Childhood.  She began teaching at Cornerstone in August 2020. Lindsey currently resides in Plainfield with her husband and three children.  

PART-TIME PRE-KINDERGARTEN

 Amelia has 10 years of early childhood experience including teaching children age 2-5yrs. She attended Bryant and Stratton College, where she earned her degree in Early Childhood.  She began teaching at Cornerstone in August 2020. Amelia currently resides in Plainfield with her husband, three children, and two cats.  

 PART-TIME THREE'S PRESCHOOL

Sloan joined our staff in 2023 as our Part-Time Pre-K teacher.  She attended Purdue University, where she earned her bachelors of science in Child and Family Services with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.  She previously taught Pre-K and was a Director at a preschool in Indiana. She currently resides in Plainfield with her husband and four children. 

PART-TIME PRE-KINDERGARTEN

​​Ms. Katie has joined our staff this year but is not new to our school as her son Danny graduated from Cornerstone last year and will be going to Kindergarten in the fall. Katie has a bachelor's degree in Early childhood with 13 years of teaching experience in an elementary school.  She also worked as a literacy consultant and ran after-school reading programs. She currently resides in Plainfield with her husband and two children. 

ART AIDE PART-TIME PRE-K

 Allison joined our staff in 2024.  She previously taught second grade in Oswego District 308 for 14 years.  Allison attended Illinois State University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and attended Olivet Nazarene where she earned her Masters in Reading Education. She currently resides in Plainfield with her husband and two children.
