Enrichment Classes
Cornerstone’s enrichment classes are an extension of our daily preschool curriculum.
These 1-hour classes run once a week for 5 or 6 weeks (11:15am - 12:15pm). The enrichment classes are offered during the day while school is in session and are open to both full day and part-time preschool children. You may sign up for multiple classes and can even choose a day that your child does not normally attend. These classes are not required. Spaces are limited. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis.
How To Sign up: We will be using Sign-Up Genius for enrollment. The link will be posted below once enrollment begins.
Pricing: Enrichment prices will vary based on the class. The 5 week classes cost between $75 - $85 per session. The 6 week classes will cost more
Payment Options: Payment must be received within 48hrs of enrollment to hold your child’s spot. If you are signed up for autopay, it will come out of your account within 24 hours of being invoiced.

Carpool: Part-time preschoolers are able to use the carpool line for pick-up and drop off. Please remember to hang your car tag as there may be different teachers helping with carpool.
Afternoon Preschoolers: Your child is welcome to bring a small lunch or snack to eat between enrichment and the afternoon class. Please remember we are a peanut-free facility.

Dates: September 15 - October 23 (6 Weeks)
Classes Offered:
- Fine Motor Fun (Tues or Weds $90)- This class will focus on strengthening your child’s fine motor abilities. Children will be given individualized instruction in proper pencil grip, letter formation, and name writing. This class will run in small group centers that focus on building hand strength, coordination, and proper letter formation, while remaining fun and engaging.
- Tennis (Weds $90) - What’s all that “racquet”? This program is tailored for kids of all abilities using kid friendly equipment. This class is full of activities, exercises and fun tennis games that use special equipment to build up physical ‘ABCs’ (Agility, Balance, Co-ordination), as well as basic technique.
- Mini-Ballerz (Thurs or Friday $102) This soccer class will be taught by 7 United Soccer Club professional coaches. They will focus on foot-eye coordination, dribbling, scoring and balance. They will also introduce the concepts of teamwork and cooperation.

Dates: November 6 - December 17 (5 Weeks)

Classes Offered:
- Holiday Crafts (Mon,Thurs, or Fri $85) - It’s time to get in the holiday spirit! In this class we will create wonderful holiday decorations for you to cherish for years to come. Whether it’s fall décor, or a Christmas ornament, your child will love using several different art processes to construct their project. Although this class was offered last year, all projects are different to allow for children to take the class again and enjoy "The most wonderful time of the year". *Please note that this class is more expensive due to the supplies needed.
- Rhythm Room (Tues or Weds $75) - Let's get Groovin' with Mr. Aaron! This class will give kids an opportunity to move, dance, sing and have fun while exploring different percussion instruments. They will learn the basics of how rhythm works in music. This class will really challenge and develop their counting skills.
Session 3 Enrichment
Dates: January 12 - February 12 (5 Weeks)
Classes Offered:
- STEM 101 (Tues or Weds $75) - STEM education includes the subjects of science, technology, engineering, and math. This class will provide a fun and engaging opportunity for students to explore and experience STEM. Our focus is developing students’ problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills through hands-on, project based learning. Whether you’ve got a future engineer, architect, technology whiz or mechanic in your mist, this class will get their minds racing!
- Yoga (Thurs or Friday $85)-This class will be taught by Ms. Allison, a certified yoga instructor. The children will work towards improving strength and flexibility through yoga poses that are taught in an engaging and interactive manner. Children will also learn multiple techniques to help with concentration and relaxation, that they can apply in their everyday lives
Session 4 Enrichment
Dates: February 22 - March 25 (5 Weeks)
Classes Offered:
- Doreen Cronin: Book Study (Mon or Tues $75)- Click, Clack, Giggle, Giggle, Thump!! In this class we will introduce the works of Doreen Cronin. We will start with three of her most famous stories: Giggle, Giggle, Quack, Click, Clack, Peep & Thump, Quack, Moo. Finally, we will dive into two of her “Diary” series of books. Each week will bring us a new Doreen Cronin book, a learning activity, and related craft. We’ll have so much fun studying this creative author.
- Around the World (Weds $75) Pre-K ONLY- Hop aboard as we take a trip around the world. We will explore several countries learning about their unique cultures, traditions, food, art, and dance. We will visit a new country each week while earning a stamp in our very own passports. ***Please list any food allergies in comments section
- Mini Math (Thurs $75)- Calling all mini-mathematicians! This class provides great exposure to Common Core math concepts in a fun environment. We will focus on number sense, number recognition, 1:1 correspondence, rote counting, as well as acting out story problems in order to introduce addition and subtraction concepts. You can “count” on having a good time.

Dates: April 8 - May 14 (5 Weeks)

Classes Offered:
- Angry Birds (Mon or Tues $75) - This class is designed for “Angry Bird” lovers as we explore those famous 5 birds (Mountain Bluebird, Northern Cardinal, Toughie, Yellow Warbler, and Snow Bunting). We will learn what the birds like to eat, how to attract them to our neighborhoods, and how they help people. We will meet a new bird each week. Some of the activities will include going on a bird hunt, building a bird nest, and decorating a bird house.
